At first you have to decide what your need is.
You can reduce your budget If you’re using your computer for just entertainment (listening music and movies) simple editing works (Adobe Photoshop and video editing software), and internet surfing
To do so  you can prefer the configuration given bellow
1-Processer ----there is so much brands in the market INTEL and the AMD are the popular brands                                          To reduce the cost and get better performance you can choose AMD because AMD  Is low in price and high in performance but in case of durability INTEL maybe better If you are choosing INTEL you can choose INTEL PENTIUM DUAL CORE (Intel 3GHz LGA 775 Dual Core E5700 Processor) because it will give you better Performance  in low cost If you’re choosing AMD you can choose AND ATHLON II X2 270 because it will rovide you  Awesome performance in low price range

2-Motherboard--- if you choose INTLE PENTIUM DUAL CORE you may have to buy Intel DH61WW  Motherboard If you choose AMD Athlon II X2 270 you may have to buy ASUSM5A78L-M LX V2 Motherboard Or Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2PT Motherboard Or MSI 760GM-P21 (FX) Motherboard

3-RAM--- to get grate performance you may have to use as low as 1 GB of RAM (the type of ram depends on the Motherboard which you have chosen   like DDR2, DDR3,DDR4)

4-SMPS --  it is common for almost all desktops.

5-Hard Disk Drive---- now there is two types of HDD one is SATA the other is IDE. IDE is not easy   available in the. market because it is getting out dated  .you can choose the capacity according to your need You can choose the capacity from the wide range of 160GB-1000GB(1TB)

6-CD/DVD ROM---- you can choose it according to your favorite brand. choosing SATA port enabled drive may be the best

7-Cabinet (is a room for these components)----you can choose your favorite model

8-Moniter------ you can choose your favorite brand and screen size

9-Mouse and keyboard- it’s your choice

10-UPS –it’s your choice

11- OS --- you can choose your OS there is free and paid OS Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7             and windows 8  are paid OS .Linux, UBUNTU,KUBUNT are free OS . if you are choosing        windows you have to buy it . If you choose Linux you can download it from the internet and write it into a CD/DVD and use it

                            Using this configuration you can do almost all the heavy works
